Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are seeking full-time litigation attorneys to join our esteemed firm. We offer a hybrid work schedule, allowing a blend of home and office work. We have positions available in both our Newport Beach and Santa Clarita offices. The main focus of the associate attorney will be tort defense for transportation, premise liability, and products liability.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Discovery: Conduct and manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and handling depositions.
  • Law and Motion: Prepare, file, and argue motions in court. Handle various pre-trial motions and procedural issues.
  • Depositions: Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court for hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings.
  • Trial Preparation: Assist in preparing cases for trial, including organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and drafting trial briefs.
  • Mediations and Settlements: Participate in mediation sessions and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes amicably.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
  • Bar Membership: Must be a member of the California Bar.
  • Education: Degree from an ABA-accredited law school is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong experience in discovery, law and motion, depositions, and trial preparation.
