We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney to join our thriving legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases, developing and implementing strategies to defend and protect our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of employment law matters, including workers' compensation, employment law, and defense. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Represent clients in legal proceedings related to employment law, workers' compensation, and defense.
  2. Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents related to employment law.
  3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
  4. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in disputes related to employment law and workers' compensation.
  6. Stay updated with the latest changes and developments in employment law and workers' compensation.
  7. Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest level of client service.
  8. Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  3. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in employment law, workers' compensation, and defense.
  4. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in legal proceedings related to employment law and workers' compensation.
  5. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  6. Strong research and report writing skills.
  7. Proficient in using legal research software and other related software.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
  9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  10. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
