SUMMARY:

As our Senior Wireless Systems Engineer, you will develop and implement algorithms for wireless connectivity between Bluetooth devices and satellites. You'll design and optimize communication protocols to ensure reliable connections in space and on Earth. Your role includes system modeling, protocol design, performance analysis, and system implementation while working closely with hardware and software teams to integrate wireless systems into our satellite network.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of communication theory & signal processing-related algorithm design (such as channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction, etc.)
  • Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols, such as 5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth/BLE.
  • Expertise in developing signal processing and wireless communications systems (e.g., FSK/OFDM/MIMO, etc.) and hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization.
  • Experience with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation.
  • Experience and knowledge on High-Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development and emulation systems.
  • Experience on bring-up of real systems in silicon/FPGA/SoC and use of lab test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and learn new technologies, network protocols, and tools rapidly.
  • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Over 5 years of directly relevant experience
  • Experience with multi-radio coexistence management.
  • Experience in modem architecture, microprocessor architecture, hardware, and software control.
  • Experience in low-power algorithm design for power-critical applications.
