In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving automated systems in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, SCADA, and automation tooling and frameworks. You will be a key player in improving our manufacturing processes and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain control systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum production efficiency and quality.
  2. Develop and implement PLC programs using Allen Bradley PLC to enhance automation and improve process efficiency.
  3. Utilize SCADA systems for real-time process monitoring, data acquisition, and control.
  4. Troubleshoot and repair issues with control systems and automation equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and develop control solutions that meet business needs.
  6. Lead and mentor junior engineers, supporting their development and ensuring best practices are followed.
  7. Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends in automation and control systems, and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Ensure all control systems and procedures comply with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  3. Solid experience with Allen Bradley PLC, PLC Programming, SCADA, and Automation.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and best practices.
  5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
  7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  8. Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
  9. Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
