Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position within our thriving manufacturing industry where you will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional with extensive experience in preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical systems, mechanical systems, 3 phase, motor, and conveyor systems. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for mechanics and electronics, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance program across all equipment and systems, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
2. Oversee all installation, repair, and maintenance tasks of the company's facilities, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
3. Troubleshoot equipment and system failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
4. Manage and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including 3 phase and motor systems.
5. Oversee the operation and maintenance of conveyor systems, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
6. Lead, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
7. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance and repair work.
8. Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
9. Prepare and control maintenance budget and manage inventory of equipment parts and supplies.
10. Stay current with latest technologies, techniques, and best practices in maintenance management; bringing forward recommendations to improve operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical systems, mechanical systems, 3 phase, motor, and conveyor systems.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
7. Proficiency in using computer software for maintenance management and reporting.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
10. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
11. Certification in Maintenance Management or related field would be an asset.
