Salary: $170,000 - $180,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering team. This position will oversee all engineering operations, ensuring that our products are developed and delivered with the highest quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing all engineering activities, including pipeline engineering, stress analysis, and facilities engineering in the oil & gas industry. Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the engineering department to ensure it will contribute to achieving the company's strategic goals.
2. Oversee and manage all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.
3. Collaborate with the executive management team to set strategic direction and drive innovation in our product offerings.
4. Develop and manage the engineering budget and oversee the development and management of all other engineering-related budgets.
5. Ensure the quality and efficiency of product designs and the engineering processes used to create them, including 3-D modeling and stress analysis.
6. Manage and optimize the use of engineering resources across various projects.
7. Stay current with the latest engineering technology trends and apply new knowledge to the job.
8. Develop and implement comprehensive and continuous training programs to ensure the engineering team is updated with the latest industry developments and trends.
9. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior engineering management role within the oil & gas industry.
3. Proficiency in engineering software, including skyciv, RISA, CEASAR, FEA Software.
4. Proven track record of managing large and complex engineering projects.
5. Extensive knowledge of pipeline engineering, facilities engineering, and stress analysis.
6. Strong leadership skills with a track record for driving team results.
7. Excellent decision-making skills with a proven ability to drive engineering process improvements.
8. Strong knowledge of 3-D modeling techniques.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or subjects.
11. Proven experience in Operations Management and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
12. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and assist/advise support engineers in establishing appropriate priorities.
13. A Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
