We are seeking a passionate and experienced Geotechnical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in geotechnical engineering to manage a variety of complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing geotechnical projects from conception to completion, with an emphasis on quality control, budget management, and client satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of geotechnical reports and testing, and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage geotechnical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Prepare and review geotechnical reports, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
  3. Conduct geotechnical testing, including soil and rock testing, to inform project planning and design.
  4. Oversee the development of geotechnical design plans and specifications.
  5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  6. Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in geotechnical engineering.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  9. Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. will be highly regarded.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  3. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports.
  4. Extensive knowledge of geotechnical testing techniques, including soil and rock testing.
  5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  7. Proficiency in using geotechnical software and other relevant software.
  8. A professional engineering license is preferred.
  9. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
  10. Ability to travel as needed to oversee project activities.
