Job Details:

Are you passionate about construction and have a knack for roofing? We are looking for an experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of our roofing projects, both residential and commercial, from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing a team of roofers, ensuring safety regulations are met, and delivering high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations. With your extensive knowledge and experience in roofing, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and longevity of our buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all stages of roofing projects, from planning to execution, for both residential and commercial properties.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of roofers, ensuring they are working efficiently and safely.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being done according to plans and specifications.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with roofing projects, implementing risk management strategies as necessary.
• Handle any repairs and services needed on roofing systems, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard.
• Regularly communicate with clients, providing them with updates and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Ensure all roofing projects are completed on time and within budget, without compromising on quality.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of different roofing systems and materials, including their installation, service, and repair.
• Proven experience managing both residential and commercial roofing projects.
• Strong understanding of risk management in relation to construction and roofing projects.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different job sites.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
• A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
