The ideal candidate will have a rich background in RFP, bid proposals, estimating, and construction estimating. Familiarity with Procore software is a must. Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and bids for submission to clients and government entities.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring that they meet the client's needs and budget.
- Lead the project team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
- Review and interpret project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
- Prepare and submit RFPs and bid proposals, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and timely.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Utilize Procore software for project management and estimating tasks.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of government contracts and regulations related to the construction industry.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on petroleum, fuel, tank, and pump projects.
- Proven experience with RFPs, bid proposals, estimating, and construction estimating.
- Proficient in the use of Procore software.
- Familiarity with government contracts and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for strategic thinking and detail-oriented work.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing projects to completion, on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of safety and legal regulations within the construction industry.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
