Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

In business for over 50 years, we are a full service electrical contractor mainly doing large scale installations and retrofit of electrical systems for indoor sports facilities, hospitals, industrial facilities, and concert halls. We provide the following electrical services: preventative maintenance, LEED, engineering and design, electronic control systems, fiber optics, auxiliary systems, retrofit, and maintenance services.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator with Project Management experience to join our Service team. This exciting role is pivotal to our construction operations, overseeing estimating and project management, ensuring accurate cost estimates for electrical installations and managing multiple projects from inception to completion.

• Personal Time Off (PTO)- Accrued throughout 1st yr, up to 104hrs, and another 40hrs after 5th year of employment

Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager will oversee electrical service projects, estimate own jobs, facilitate work to electricians performing hands-on work in the field, and manage the project from start to finish.
• Service projects include: electric vehicle charging stations, switchgear replacements, transformers, substations, LED lighting retrofits and replacements, construction renovations, lighting cubicles, reconfigurations, etc.
• Managing 15-20 smaller jobs at a time, ranging from $50,000-$500,000.
• Managing 1 to 5 people working on each job.
• Frequent interaction with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Manage multiple small, fast paced projects efficiently while ensuring completion within budget and on time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years experience in electrical estimating and project management.
• Demonstrated proficiency using electrical estimating software (preferably Accubid but can teach)
• A thorough understanding of electrical systems, and New York codes and regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
