Salary: $175,000 - $250,000 per year

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the organization's tax functions, including compliance, reporting, and planning.
2. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
4. Manage audits of federal and state tax income, sales and use, payroll, and property tax filings.
5. Research the implications of tax laws and advise on tax-related issues and considerations in decision-making.
6. Develop and implement robust tax policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors, managing the relationship to ensure optimal outcomes.
8. Provide leadership, training, and support to tax department staff.
9. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax law and regulations that may impact the organization.
10. Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities and strategies.
