We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Emergency Room RN to join our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent role is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment, where you will be a key player in providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the emergency department and acute care settings, with the ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:

As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing immediate and effective medical care to patients in emergency situations, including initial assessment, planning, and management of care.
  • Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including doctors, paramedics, and medical assistants.
  • Implementing and maintaining patient care plans, and documenting all necessary observations and treatments.
  • Supervising and evaluating nursing care provided to patients, ensuring the highest level of care is consistently delivered.
  • Coordinating discharge planning with social workers, case managers, and other team members.
  • Managing resources effectively, ensuring the emergency department runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge of best practices in emergency nursing.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current, valid Utah RN license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department or acute care setting.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Proven experience in assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating nursing care.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.
