We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Paralegal with a focus on Litigation, Probate & Trust. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic, high-performance legal team where you will be able to utilize your skills and experience to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing paralegal support to our litigation team, assisting in probate and trust administration, and managing case files. The position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation including but not limited to discovery, trial preparation, case management, and court filings.
  2. Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, wills, trusts, and probate documents.
  3. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant documents, data, and information are properly stored and easily accessible.
  4. Conduct legal research and factual investigation as needed.
  5. Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals to schedule meetings, depositions, and trials.
  6. Assist with probate and trust administration, including preparing inventories, accountings, and distributions.
  7. Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures, as well as firm policies and ethical standards.
  8. Monitor deadlines and provide timely updates to attorneys and clients.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in Litigation, Probate, and Trust.
  2. A bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is a plus.
  3. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures.
  4. Proficiency in case management software and other legal technologies.
  5. Excellent research and investigative skills with a strong attention to detail.
  6. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  9. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  10. Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
  11. Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact.
  12. Familiarity with probate and trust administration is highly preferred.
