What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our clients’ network and server infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Network and Server Support: Provide expert support and maintenance for managed switches, firewalls, security appliances, and more.
  • Cloud Services Management: Work with public and hybrid cloud services, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Exchange.
  • Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
  • System Administration: Oversee day-to-day administration of servers and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network and project documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Networking: Managed switches (HPE Aruba, Cisco, Juniper), wireless technologies, LAN/WAN routing, and advanced networking concepts (SD-WAN, OSPF, BGP).
  • Security: Firewall and security appliance management (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto), antivirus, and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Cloud and Virtualization: Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, VMware, Hyper-V, and SAN administration.
  • System Administration: Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, and day-to-day server management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Backup Solutions: Familiarity with industry-standard solutions like Veeam or Datto.
  • VDI Solutions: Experience with Microsoft, Citrix, or VMware.
  • Troubleshooting: Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Documentation: Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive network and project documentation.
