Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year

The Design Manager leads a team of designers, ensuring the quality and timeliness of their work while supporting sales and operations teams. This role involves recruiting, training, and managing staff, creating procedures to improve efficiency, and overseeing project timelines and design documentation. Additionally, the manager ensures adherence to operational standards, facilitates team meetings, and provides technical assistance, while maintaining positive relationships with various departments and stakeholders.

MUST HAVE:

• 10+ years of Fire Protection design experience
• High School GED or advanced degree
• Knowledge of various fire protection platforms, ie: Siemens, Johnson Controls Tyco, Simplex, Firelite, Silent Knight, etc.
• AutoCAD
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and other standards
• Team management experience

NICE TO HAVE:

• HydraCAD
• HydraCALC
• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience designing industrial fire sprinkler systems
• NICET Level IV - Water Based Systems Layout
• CFPS certification
• TWIC Card
