We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical engineering, from planning and design to execution and maintenance. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals, ensuring that all mechanical aspects of our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, your duties will include:

  1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of mechanical engineering on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Developing project plans and schedules, coordinating with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure all project requirements are met.
  3. Reviewing and approving mechanical designs, plans, and specifications, identifying any potential issues or improvements.
  4. Supervising and directing mechanical engineering teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Ensuring all mechanical work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  6. Conducting regular site inspections and audits, identifying any issues or delays and taking appropriate action to resolve them.
  7. Preparing and presenting regular project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  8. Managing project risks and issues, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  9. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other professionals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, specifically within the construction industry.
  3. Proven experience managing all aspects of mechanical engineering on construction projects, from planning and design to execution and maintenance.
  4. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, techniques, and standards.
  5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and direct teams effectively.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
