Job Details

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Desk Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Office 365 to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Office 365 services and applications, including Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune). Experience with Active Directory account management and provisioning in Azure AD is essential, as is familiarity with Okta Single Sign-On and multifactor authentication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to over 500 end users, maximizing service levels across all technology areas.
  • Install and maintain client workstations, ensuring hardware and software configurations are up to date.
  • Analyze user specifications for hardware and software, and document all upgrades and changes.
  • Respond to, log, and resolve technology-related issues, effectively communicating solutions to users.
  • Collaborate with networking and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain service desk tickets and documentation to facilitate efficient problem resolution.
  • Manage hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in monitoring and resolving faxing issues using the Print2Fax or RingCentral system.
  • Assist in the installation, move, and configuration of new PC’s (both hardware and software).
  • Prepare ongoing communications to users regarding updates and system changes.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while promoting a supportive and professional environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
  • Technical Knowledge: MS Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, with strong working knowledge of MS Office 2016 & 2019 (Outlook, Word, Excel), Exchange,

MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta Single Sign-On, Multifactor authentication

  • Skills in documenting processes, maintaining knowledge bases, and tracking service requests.
  • Hardware/Software Installation: Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Sound decision-making abilities and a customer-focused approach to troubleshooting.
  • Incident Management: Ability to manage major incidents and escalate issues according to established protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering a constructive and positive environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
