Job Details

Our Maintenance Mechanics repair and maintain food production machinery and mechanical equipment at our state-of-the-art facility.

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and maintenance on industrial production equipment of all types.

Troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and reassemble equipment including packaging lines and conveyors.

Inspect drive motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, etc.

Troubleshoot and calibrate control panels using relay logic, heat and humidity control systems, process control valves, pneumatic control systems, hydraulic control systems, metal detection systems, inkjet coding systems, electronic scaling systems, electronic meters. Interface with and troubleshoot motor control equipment; motor staters, run relays, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), Servo motors, and controls.

Electrical or Mechanical certification required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical & mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on food manufacturing equipment
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including PLCs and other control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Work with other maintenance professionals to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly
  • Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Technician or Electrician in the food industry
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLCs and other control systems highly desired
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
