Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Electrician to join our team. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for problem-solving. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise while working on complex projects in a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve control networks, instrumentation, PLC devices, HMI, VFD, servo, and control problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, distribution systems, motor control centers, and motors.
  • Work on electrical equipment including but not limited to Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, overload devices, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize electrical systems and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
  • Participate in the design and installation of new electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial electrical engineering role.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving control networks, instrumentation, PLC devices, HMI, VFD, servo, and control problems.
  • Demonstrated experience performing preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, distribution systems, motor control centers, and motors.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical equipment including but not limited to Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, overload devices, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
  • Proficient in Electrical Troubleshooting and Electrical Controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Must be able to work in a physical environment and lift up to 50lbs.
