Job Details:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facilities. This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses a keen understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
9. Coordinate with team members to identify future needs and requirements.
10. Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
11. Document processes, keep logs and report issues for further evaluation.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
2. Experience in the Manufacturing industry is preferred.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including the installation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Exceptional listening and communication skills.
8. Accurate and precise attention to detail.
9. Ability to work in various conditions, such as tight and high spaces.
10. Strong mechanical aptitude and physical stamina.
11. Valid license to practice the profession.
12. Completion of an Electrician apprenticeship program, or an equivalent program.
13. Completion of a diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.
