Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year

Jobot is conducting a search for an experienced litigation paralegal to join a growing midsized law firm in San Francisco. This career opportunity is with a women-owned full service defense firm that represents domestic and international businesses and individuals in complex litigation and trial for labor and employment, professional liability, general liability, business litigation & transactions, class actions, and education law matters. The firm has three office locations across the state.

The partners are seeking a paralegal with 3+ years of substantive experience supporting civil litigation attorneys, ideally in a midsized firm environment. Interested candidates should be comfortable with all stages of litigation and applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documents, and court rules and procedures. Job responsibilities include:

• Conduct legal research
• Update and maintain internal databases
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
• Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
• Liaise between trial team and internal/external third parts
• Help with voir dire, jury selection, and witness preparation
• Prepare comprehensive medical chronologies and Howell analysis
• Conduct background checks, social media investigations, and litigation history
