Job Details
  • Assist senior structural engineers in conducting structural analyses, calculations, and evaluations for new and existing structures using industry-standard software and modeling techniques.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other documentation related to structural designs.
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle and construction processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, project managers, and other design professionals, to coordinate structural engineering efforts.
  • Develop an understanding of structural engineering codes, standards, materials, and construction methods through mentorship and hands-on experience.
  • Assist in the development of structural solutions that meet project requirements, codes, and client needs.
  • Participate in research and data collection tasks related to structural engineering projects.
  • Continuously learn and expand your knowledge through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 0-5 years of post-graduation industry experience.
  • E.I. (Engineer Intern) registration or the ability to obtain registration within a specified timeframe, or a P.E. registration.
  • Proficiency with structural design/analysis software such as RISA Suite, etc.
  • Experience with drafting software, including Revit and ArchiCad preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow guidance from senior engineers.
