Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our electrical construction projects, from design to completion. You will be expected to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in electrical systems design, as well as strong project management skills. If you are a team leader who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's success.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling and resource planning.
  3. Oversee the design of electrical systems to ensure they meet project requirements and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Manage project budgets, including cost control and contract negotiation.
  5. Process change orders and use Accubid software for estimating and project management.
  6. Lead and manage project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  7. Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
  8. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are kept informed of project progress.
  9. Proactively identify and resolve any issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
  10. Continually review and improve project management processes and practices.

Qualifications

  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  2. Proven experience in electrical systems design and project management.
  3. Certified journeyman or equivalent qualification.
  4. Proficiency in using Accubid software for estimating and project management.
  5. Strong knowledge of change orders, scheduling, and resource planning.
  6. Demonstrated ability in project budgeting and cost control.
  7. Proven experience in contract negotiation and construction management.
  8. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  10. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  11. A commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of delivering projects to the highest standards.
