Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Controller to join our finance team. This is a unique opportunity to become a key player in our organization, where you will be responsible for the overall financial management and internal control system. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, as well as leading corporate finance teams to success.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the company including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and annual reports.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company and report on financial performance.
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.
  • Communicate financial metrics to senior management and provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
  • Implement and manage financial systems and software to automate financial processes.
  • Work closely with the management team to strategize and implement company financial goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional accounting designation (CPA or CMA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Advanced SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
