Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Technician, your duties will include but not limited to:

  1. Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, routers, and rollers to produce precision parts.
  2. Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand the requirements of products and components.
  3. Performing mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and fix issues with the CNC machines.
  4. Using CAM software to simulate and test machine operations for accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Applying knowledge of G-code programming to create instructions for CNC machines.
  6. Conducting regular maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Performing skiving operations as per the specifications.
  8. Collaborating with design and production teams to understand work orders and plans.
  9. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  10. Continually improving processes and outcomes, striving for excellence in all operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Technician in the manufacturing industry.
  2. Extensive knowledge of CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, routers, and rollers.
  3. Proficient in CNC programming and mechanical troubleshooting.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
  5. Solid understanding of G-code and CAM software.
  6. Experience in skiving operations.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  10. A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
  11. Relevant certification or diploma in a related field is preferred.
