Job Details:

We are seeking a passionate, seasoned, and highly motivated Employment Litigation professional to join our dynamic Legal team. This exciting role involves handling a wide range of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, interact with top-level executives, and contribute to the company's strategic goals. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Employment Law, Legal Research, Litigation, Negotiation, and Arbitration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all phases of employment litigation including investigations, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement and trial.
  2. Conduct legal research and provide legal advice concerning a broad range of employment matters.
  3. Negotiate and draft settlement agreements in employment disputes.
  4. Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  5. Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  6. Develop and implement litigation strategies in conjunction with the company’s outside counsel.
  7. Provide training to company personnel on employment law issues.
  8. Keep abreast of legal, regulatory, and industry developments in employment law.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Employment Law, Legal Research, Litigation, Negotiation, and Arbitration.
  3. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
  4. Demonstrated experience managing employment litigation cases.
  5. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex disputes.
  6. Excellent legal research skills and proficiency in using legal research tools.
  7. Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to employment.
  8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  10. Strong ethical judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
