Get ready to put your life-saving skills to work in a dynamic and challenging environment! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. You will be responsible for providing immediate medical care in emergencies, as well as proactive health monitoring and first aid. This role requires a professional who is quick-thinking, calm under pressure, and committed to the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to emergency calls promptly and efficiently, providing immediate care to critically ill or injured individuals on-site.
  2. Conduct regular health and safety checks, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures.
  3. Administer medications, apply surgical dressings and bandages, and perform other forms of first aid.
  4. Operate and maintain medical equipment such as defibrillators, suction devices, splints, oxygen delivery systems, and emergency medical bags.
  5. Collaborate with on-site management and safety teams to develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols.
  6. Document medical care given, including a detailed report of the nature of the injury/illness, treatment provided, and recommended follow-up care.
  7. Conduct regular training sessions with employees on first aid procedures, CPR, and other emergency protocols.
  8. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked medical station.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified EMT Paramedic.
  2. Valid state Paramedic license.
  3. Current certification in CPR, Advanced Life Support (ALS), and other relevant fields.
  4. Proven ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations and manage emergency scenes.
  5. Excellent physical condition and endurance, capable of lifting and moving patients.
  6. Proficiency in operating medical equipment and devices.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  8. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  9. The ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to medical ethics at all times.
