Responsibilities

The Mechanical Superintendent will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing and managing all mechanical aspects of our construction projects that involve HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing work.
2. Coordinating and scheduling tasks for the mechanical team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop detailed plans and blueprints.
5. Inspecting and evaluating mechanical systems and equipment to identify any issues or potential risks.
6. Providing expert advice and guidance on mechanical matters to project teams and stakeholders.
7. Training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
8. Regularly reporting on project progress, issues, and outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience leading mechanical construction projects.
2. Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in construction.
3. Proven experience in managing and supervising a team of construction professionals.
4. A solid understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control procedures.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
