Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the role of a Assistant Plant Maintenance Manager. This exciting role is critical to the success of our operations and provides a unique opportunity to be part of a team that ensures the smooth and efficient running of our facility. This position is ideally suited for someone who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment, and is eager to apply their expertise in electrical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and PLCs to keep our plant operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Assisting the Plant Maintenance Manager in the planning, directing, and controlling of all plant maintenance functions to ensure optimal production quantity and quality.
2. Coordinating and supervising daily maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and improvement projects.
3. Leading a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovative problem-solving.
4. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team and the broader plant personnel.
5. Utilizing PLCs for troubleshooting and improving plant automation and control systems.
6. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures, and ensuring adherence to these procedures to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
7. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to optimize plant performance and meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience in electrical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and PLCs.
4. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team, supervise personnel, and manage resources effectively.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
6. Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards applicable to a manufacturing plant.
7. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
9. Proficiency in using computer software for maintenance management and reporting.
