We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The role requires a solid understanding of systems engineering principles, project management, and technical writing. Responsibilities:

  • Lead system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability of hardware and software components.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the engineering function.
  • Design, develop and test aerospace hardware and mission computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Apply systems engineering principles to solve complex problems, developing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop high-quality technical documentation, clearly communicating system design and functionality.
  • Conduct requirements analysis, translating customer needs into actionable engineering requirements.
  • Manage system configuration, ensuring the integrity and traceability of system components.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, providing expert guidance on system design and integration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven experience with system integration, process improvement, aerospace hardware, and mission computer systems.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles and practices.
  • Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct requirements analysis and translate customer needs into actionable engineering requirements.
  • Experience with configuration management, ensuring the integrity and traceability of system components.
  • Solid understanding of hardware engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
