Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are an established, full-service real estate investment trust with holdings totaling over 20 million square feet!! As a firm that owns, develops and manages all of our holdings, we are now poised to further expand our in-house team and are looking for an experienced paralegal to join in that expansion.

This opportunity would give you ability to work alongside an established and collaborative team, working directly with the Associate General Counsel and General Counsel on complex Real Estate projects.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, mortgages, and title documents
  • Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions and dispositions
  • Maintain and organize property files and legal databases
  • Draft and file corporate documents related to REIT operations and compliance
  • Support the legal team in SEC filings and regulatory compliance matters
  • Coordinate with external counsel, title companies, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting materials and corporate minutes
  • Research and analyze real estate laws and regulations affecting REIT operations

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in real estate or corporate law
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and REIT regulations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
