We are seeking a seasoned Trust & Estates Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in trust administration and estate planning and will be passionate about providing high-quality legal services to our clients. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be a key player in our firm, working closely with our clients to plan and administer their estates and trusts.

Responsibilities:

As a Trust & Estates Attorney in our firm, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  1. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on all aspects of trust administration and estate planning.
  2. Drafting, reviewing, and amending a wide range of legal documents related to trusts and estates.
  3. Representing clients in court proceedings related to trusts and estates.
  4. Collaborating with tax professionals to ensure the tax-efficient administration of estates and trusts.
  5. Advising clients on potential legal risks and issues related to their trusts and estates.
  6. Keeping abreast of current laws and regulations related to trusts and estates to ensure our clients receive the most accurate and up-to-date advice.
  7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust & Estates Attorney.
  3. Extensive knowledge of trust administration and estate planning.
  4. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  9. Membership in good standing with the state bar.
