We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Production Manager for our manufacturing division. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, and ensuring that the quality of products meets our standards. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our products are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule to ensure maximum efficiency.
  2. Implement and control the production schedule; review and adjust it where needed.
  3. Determine the human and material resources required to meet production targets.
  4. Manage human and material resources to meet production targets.
  5. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet production objectives and minimize downtime.
  6. Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs to ensure production is maintained at a high quality.
  7. Work closely with other department managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
  8. Supervise and motivate a team of workers, review worker performance and identify training needs.
  9. Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
  10. Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
  11. Prepare and maintain production reports.
  12. Monitor and control production costs.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  3. Extensive knowledge of production management and manufacturing processes, with a particular emphasis on Printing.
  4. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
  6. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  8. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and customers.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
