Are you a professional with a passion for maintaining and troubleshooting complex machinery? If you have a knack for diagnosing and repairing pneumatic systems, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, chains and belting, conveying systems, valves, and more, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic in the Engineering industry, you will be working with blending and filling machines and other packaging equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. With your experience in industrial maintenance, you will play a key role in our team, ensuring the integrity and reliability of our machinery and systems.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following:

• Regularly inspecting, maintaining, and repairing blending and filling machines and other packaging equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing pneumatic systems, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, chains and belting, conveying systems, and valves.
• Performing mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment.
• Utilizing your welding and fabrication skills for equipment repair and modification.
• Working with specific equipment such as MRM/Elgin, Cozzoli, Kapsall, Oden, and Kalish, Pacific Liquid Fillers, Resina, and Kapsall Automatic Cappers and Tronics and Quadrel Labelers.
• Using basic MS Office skills for reporting and documentation purposes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, specifically with blending and filling machines and other packaging equipment.
• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair pneumatic systems.
• Experience with hydraulics, pumps, bearings, chains and belting, conveying systems, and valves.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with MRM/Elgin, Cozzoli, Kapsall, Oden, and Kalish, Pacific Liquid Fillers, Resina, and Kapsall Automatic Cappers and Tronics and Quadrel Labelers.
• Basic MS Office skills for reporting and documentation purposes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
