We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Dental Hygienist in Cornelius, NC! As an integral part of our dynamic dental team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional dental care to our valued patients. Responsibilities:
- Performing oral examinations and providing dental cleanings to patients.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
- Assisting the dentist during various procedures and providing post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Maintaining patient dental records and ensuring that all treatments are accurately documented.
- Taking dental radiographs (x-rays) and interpreting them to identify any issues.
- Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants and fluorides.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in the field of dental hygiene and incorporating them into your practice.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Completed dental hygiene certificate program or associate degree in Dental Hygiene and has or can obtain current Hygiene license for state of North Carolina. NEW GRADS WELCOME!
- Completed dental hygiene certificate program or associate degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current and valid license to practice dental hygiene in the state of North Carolina.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members.
- CPR/BLS Certificate
- Radiology Certificate
