Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year

Our client is a firm of over 20 attorneys, specializing litigation. Their attorneys are licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, District of Columbia, Illinois, and Missouri, and they are ready to assist in all other jurisdictions. Their work embraces transportation law, products and toxic tort liability defense, insurance coverage disputes, railroad litigation, maritime law, commercial and consumer contract disputes, administrative law, construction litigation, civil rights and constitutional law claims, environmental damage and remediation issues, professional liability claims, premises liability claims and retail and restaurant industry liability claims.

Our client is searching for a litigation attorney with 3 or more years of experience. Successful applicants will have experience in transportation law or general insurance defense litigation.

The following qualifications are necessary for consideration for this position:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the PA bar.
3. 3+ years of experience in a law firm or similar legal environment.
4. Proven experience attending and participating in hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
5. Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Strong negotiation skills.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and platform.
