Salary: $55 - $82 per hour

We are looking for a Senior Cloud SRE Engineer with a robust background in Azure Cloud to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the full implementation of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across our enterprise-level systems. You'll work on high-visibility projects that are critical to our organization’s success, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage Azure Cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient software deployments.
• Utilize Terraform to automate the provisioning of infrastructure across multiple environments, integrating seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize application performance using New Relic, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Collaborate on system design, platform management, and capacity planning, contributing to the overall stability and scalability of our systems.
• Lead efforts to improve the quality, reliability, and delivery speed of our software solutions, focusing on automation and DevOps best practices

Requirements:

• BS and/or MS in Computer Science or a related field. Also open to equivalent hands-on experience.
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud, including in-depth knowledge of security and networking concepts.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code, particularly in multi-environment deployments.
• Proficiency in New Relic for application performance monitoring and instrumentation.
• Proven track record in building and supporting mission-critical software and infrastructure.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of Azure subscriptions and resource group management.
• Experience with feature flag tools like LaunchDarkly.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, especially within DevOps or SRE.
