Job Details

Currently, we are seeking a Setup Technician on 2nd shift (2:55 pm to 11:05 pm) or 3rd shift (10:55 pm to 7:05 am) to ensure seamless production operations through preventive maintenance, performing changeovers, and machine/equipment repairs. This role is vital for maintaining operational efficiency in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start and verify production processes.
  • Perform maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshoot issues on injection molding machines and related equipment.
  • Execute changeovers on molding machines, set tools, and operate overhead cranes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of production activities and conduct quality inspections per IATF 16949 standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with complex tasks.
  • Maintain adherence to safety rules, FIFO practices, and 5S housekeeping methodology.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years CNC operating experience
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Experience with troubleshooting conveyor belts or bearings
  • Problem solving mindset

Nice to Haves:

  • 2+ years experience in high-volume manufacturing (5+ years preferred).
  • Vocational/Certificate training desired.
  • Proficient in reading work instructions, with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of injection molding machines (maintenance, setup, troubleshooting).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and technical proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of the metric system and measurement devices.
  • Advanced computer skills.
