We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the fast-paced Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in Allen Bradley, AutoCAD, Machine PLC, and HMI Programming to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and the continuous improvement of our systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
  2. Use specialized software, such as Allen Bradley, AutoCAD, and HMI Programming, to design and test system solutions.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of new projects.
  4. Conduct detailed feasibility studies for proposed equipment and systems.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems and equipment.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  7. Provide technical support to colleagues and other departments.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions for process and product improvements.
  9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and the manufacturing industry.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven experience with Allen Bradley, AutoCAD, Machine PLC, and HMI Programming.
  4. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and systems.
  5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication and team-working skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  8. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  9. Knowledge of applicable industry safety standards and regulations.
  10. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
