Salary: $25 - $29 per hour

Licensed as acute care hospitals and certified as long-term acute care hospitals in order to specialize in providing transitional care for medically complex patients. Each of our hospitals is recognized as the regional Transitional Care Hospital of choice in their respective markets.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments

Provide direct care for patients and management of their conditions under the direction of a Registered Nurse, particularly with regard to vital signs, lab work, and education

Collaborate with Physicians, RN's and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care

Contributes to the safe and effective operation of the nursing unit

Interact and communicate with patient family members

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the state of MO

BLS and ACLS certification preferred (Classes available and must obtain within 30 days of hire)

Hospital experience, acute care / LTAC preferred

Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in stressful environment

Team, detail and goal oriented

Positive, professional and empathetic demeanor
