Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

As a Tax Senior you will play a critical role in the delivery of a range of tax services to various clients. This position requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance & Advisory: Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Advise clients on tax planning and compliance matters.
• Research: Conduct thorough tax research on various federal, state, and local tax matters and develop effective tax strategies for clients.
• Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand and address client needs, providing exceptional service.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including Tax Managers and Partners, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client service.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, informing both the team and clients of relevant developments.
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping in their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or working towards obtaining it.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax services.
• Strong knowledge of tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
