Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic, highly-skilled, and experienced General Dentist to join our well established dental practice in Saraland, AL. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of general dentistry, including oral care, dental diagnosis, patient care, preventive care, and orthodontics. The position is permanent and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including comprehensive oral health examinations, treatment planning, and preventive care.
  • Perform general dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic treatments.
  • Diagnose oral diseases, injuries, and disorders, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral health and preventive care, including proper brushing and flossing techniques, diet, and lifestyle habits that affect oral health.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Collaborate with dental team members and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in dentistry.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry
  • Proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to oral care, dental diagnosis, patient care, preventive care, and orthodontics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex dental procedures and concepts in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health issues.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, personalized care
