Salary: $200,000 - $500,000 per year

Well-Funded, venture backed startup is hiring for a Senior Protocol Engineer! This startup is partnered with big names in the crypto space and is a core contributor to their Solana liquidity aggregator and a mobile trading app used by currently used by 1/2 a million users. In this role you work will primarily focus around writing low-latency software that optimizes cryptocurrency trade execution and power the core of billions of dollars in trading volume on the Solana network.

Requirements

• 5 years of software engineering experience
• HFT software engineering experience is a bonus
• Computer science fundamentals, including familiarity with core algorithms in the graph theory, parallel programming, distributed systems subfields
• Strong systems engineering experience in C++, C, or Rust
• Strong software architecture and design skills, including the ability to weigh tradeoffs between various approaches
• Strong understanding of networks, communication protocols, and distributed systems
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to participate productively in technical discussions
• Experience with distributed systems, operating systems
• Understand compiler design, and features of modern compilers (e.g. Hindley-Milner type systems)
• Interest in DeFi and open source contributions
