Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

The Senior Accountant will work on a highly collaborative team in support of our company's critical accounting and finance operations.

The Senior Accountant should have 4+ years of experience with month-end close, bank reconciliations, audit prep, budget/variance analysis, and revenue recognition (ASC 606).

CPA is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
• Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis.
• Implement and comply with ASC 606 revenue recognition rules and regulations.
• Establish internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures.
• Perform full cycle revenue, including deferred revenue and capitalization of costs to fulfill.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role.
• Proven experience with ASC 606, revenue recognition, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• High proficiency in financial management and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Superior mathematical skills.
• Leadership skills and experience; employee management; understanding of data privacy standards.
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
