We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the MEP industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage a variety of commercial and residential construction projects, including service plumbing and ground up. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion, demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the MEP sector.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from planning and design to implementation and completion.
  2. Coordinating and managing contractors, and other professionals to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  3. Developing detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
  4. Ensuring project compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
  5. Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or delays, and implementing appropriate solutions.
  6. Managing the procurement process, including contractor selection and contract negotiation.
  7. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  8. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  9. Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
  10. Coordinating the project staff to ensure effective and efficient execution of project tasks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or field experience
  2. A minimum of 5+ years of project management experience
  3. Proven experience in managing commercial and residential construction projects, including service and plumbing.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, material, and project management principles.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
