Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year

Our client, a global publicly-traded firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax provisions as per the US GAAP.
2. Ensuring accurate and timely filing of all corporate and business tax returns.
3. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize the company’s tax liabilities.
4. Conducting complex tax research projects for tax compliance and planning purposes.
5. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.
6. Providing guidance and support to junior tax accountants and other finance staff.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
8. Assisting in tax planning activities and strategies that align with the company's business goals.
9. Preparing tax reports and forecasting for senior management.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax accounting role, preferably in the mortgage industry.
3. Proven experience with tax provision income is a must.
4. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, federal and state tax laws, and regulations.
5. Demonstrated ability to conduct complex tax research and analysis.
6. Proficiency in using tax software and financial management systems.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information discretely.
