We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Buyer to join our team

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to utilize their purchasing and supply chain management skills in a challenging, high-energy environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchasing process, from generating purchase orders to managing vendor relationships

This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of forecasting and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies and manage all activities related to the procurement of goods and services.
  • Generate and process purchase order reports and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with supply chain activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts and prices.
  • Oversee and manage the logistical aspects of the supply chain, which includes material schedules and delivery.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
  • Use VLOOKUPs and other Microsoft Office tools to manage and analyze data effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from frontline workers to top executives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel for managing and analyzing data.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management concepts, including but not limited to strategic sourcing, materials management, and logistics management.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using data management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to forecast and manage inventory effectively.
