Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our engineering team. This is a position that offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects, from conceptual design to product launch. The successful candidate will be a key player in the development, design, and implementation of electrical systems and circuits, contributing to the overall success of our projects. This role requires a highly skilled individual with a strong understanding of design, verification, documentation, project management and has strong experience working with AutoCAD and Altium/ORCAD.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and verify emergency communication devices ,equipment, and electrical systems for commercial and military aircraft.
- Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
- Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
- Utilize project engineering skills to drive analog circuit design, analysis, and product development from inception to launch, with a strong emphasis on New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
- Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Altium, ORCAD, and other related software.
- Proven experience in circuit design and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
- Proficient in design and calculation software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
