Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous HSE Specialist to join our dynamic team in the construction space. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of health, safety, and environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. The HSE Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations, as well as adhering to company policy to prevent any accidents or harm to employees.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive environmental, safety and health management systems.
• Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver training and education programs and ensure staff are aware and adhere to relevant HSE procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
• Develop and implement programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards at the company facilities.
• Provide guidance and advice to the company on a range of HSE issues.
• Prepare, maintain, and update environmental policy and procedure manuals.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
• Serve as the link between corporate management and employees on HSE matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role in the technology industry.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Proficient in data analysis and risk assessment.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
• Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
• Resilient with a high level of personal integrity and energy experience.
