We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Cyber Claims Examiner to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the rapidly evolving field of cyber insurance. As a Senior Cyber Claims Examiner, you will be at the forefront of handling complex cyber claims and investigations, utilizing your expertise in risk management and loss mitigation. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to protecting our clients from the ever-increasing threat of cybercrime. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing a caseload of complex cyber claims from inception to completion.
2. Conducting detailed investigations into cyber claims, including reviewing policies, verifying coverage, and determining liability.
3. Collaborating with IT professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to understand the technical aspects of each claim.
4. Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to mitigate losses.
5. Negotiating claim settlements and managing litigation processes when necessary.
6. Providing expert advice and guidance to less experienced team members.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field of cybercrime and cybersecurity.
8. Communicating effectively with policyholders, ensuring they are kept informed of the progress of their claim.
9. Working closely with underwriters to provide feedback on policy wording and coverage issues.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cyber Claims Examiner or in a similar role.
2. Proven experience in handling complex claims and conducting detailed investigations.
3. Strong knowledge of risk management principles and loss mitigation techniques.
4. Familiarity with cybersecurity trends and threats.
5. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Proficiency in using computer software and applications, including claims management systems.
10. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
